15th January 2026 High-grade copper-gold continues to grow at Valeriano
ATEX Resources has made a press release informing about a new set of high-grade assay results from Phase VI drilling at the Valeriano Copper-Gold Project, and the data continue to strengthen the scale and continuity of the B2B breccia system.
Key information after the survey
The latest results from drill hole ATXD26B significantly expand a previously reported interval, delivering 186 metres of 2.13% CuEq, including 88 metres of 2.70% CuEq with approximately 400 metres of assays still pending. These intersections confirm that the high-grade B2B Zone remains open and continues to grow down dip and along strike.
What stands out is not only the grade, but the emerging geometric coherence of the system. Current interpretation supports a high-grade zone with approximate dimensions of ~400 m strike length, up to 200 m width, and 500–600 m vertical extent, a scale that is increasingly relevant for future resource growth scenarios.
Big potential
“The continuation of drill results from ATXD26B has improved both the thickness and grades of the B2B breccia, reinforcing the continuity and growth potential of this high-grade zone,” commented Ben Pullinger, President and CEO of ATEX. “The robustness of this high-grade system continues to be shown through repeated intersections of consistent, high-grade mineralization, underscoring its potential to support further resource growth. We now see a zone with approximate dimensions of 400 meters of strike, up to 200 meters in horizontal width and a vertical extent of 500 to 600 meters. We see potential to further add high-grade tonnes in the porphyry and other breccia targets at Valeriano. Our focus in 2026 is to aggressively advance these targets.”
What’s next
With six drill rigs active and more than half of the 25,000 m Phase VI program already completed, ATEX is systematically testing both extensions of the B2B Zone and multiple new breccia targets (B3B, B4B, B5B) across the property. Assays from several additional holes remain outstanding, suggesting continued news flow ahead.
These results reinforce Valeriano’s position within Chile’s emerging Link Belt, alongside some of the most significant copper-gold porphyry discoveries in the Andes.
