10th July 2025 Big milestone for Loma Larga’s Dundee Precious Metals gold project.
Dundee Precious Metals Inc. has informed that it has received the environmental license from the Ecuadorian government to proceed with the development of its Loma Larga underground gold project.
Loma Larga gold project
Acquired in 2020, Loma Larga marks DPM’s strategic entry into Latin America. The decision marks the completion of the indigenous consultation process and fulfillment of a 2023 ruling by the Azuay provincial court.
According to the 2021 feasibility study, the gold production is evaluated at 70,000 oz/year over a 12-year mine life with estimated mineral reserve totaling 13.9M metric tons grading 4.91 g/t for 2.2M oz of contained gold.
