5th April 2024 Chile the main April platform for discussion about mining
105th IOC meeting
Mining has always been an essential part of human civilization, providing the raw materials that fuel progress and development. However, the world we operate in today is fraught with uncertainties such as geopolitical tensions, economic fluctuations, environmental concerns, technological disruptions, and now, the unprecedented challenges posed by global pandemics.
These challenges are also the drivers for the mining industry for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth. We must confront these challenges head-on, embracing change as an opportunity to redefine the future of mining. In April a platform for the discussion is Chile where both the 105th IOC meeting and CESCO will take place. During the IOC event, a high-level discussion related to challenges and perspectives of world mining in times of uncertainty will take place.
