Raw Materials Week 2023 approaches!

23rd October 2023 Raw Materials Week 2023 approaches!

Raw Materials Week

Critical raw materials, as well as securing and developing their value chains are especially valid in today’s world. This year an annual event organized by the European Commission on this subject will take place in Brussels from the 13th to the 17th of November. Raw Materials Week gathers a wide range of stakeholders who discuss policies and initiatives in the field of raw materials. This enables a wide view of ongoing EU activities in this sector.
This year’s event will center around the European Critical Raw Materials Act and include the 10th annual High-Level Conference of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on raw materials, co-organized with Eumicon, on 15 November. All subjects related to raw materials for energy transition, investment, strategic projects, and strategic partnerships will be covered this year.

This year’s high-level speakers will be Maroš Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President for European Green deal, Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight, Thierry Breton, Commissioner of Internal Market, and Kerstin Jorna, Director-General of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.
